There is no better way to describe how I feel currently.
So, the teachers are STILL on strike. I have been out of classes (not counting exam week) since the beginning of December. It is nearly February. All my friends are back in class, my sister's back in school, my parents are back at work. This leaves me with a lot of spare, lonely time on my hands, much of it spent doing nothing.
I can almost FEEL my brain rotting away. I've been asking my mother if she'll let me re-paint my sister's room, just so I can have something to do.
I've been re-evaluating my life right now, though, and I wish I'd taken a year off to do this sort of thing, but here I am, and there you have it. I don't know what I'll do with an English degree. Most likely not nearly as much as I'd like to achieve in my life, and that worries me.
I don't know if I'll be going back to St Thomas next year. Perhaps not. I don't even know if I'm going to finish this term. I need to... figure things out.

The average life is full of near misses and absolute hits, of great love and small disasters. It's made up of banana milkshakes, loft insulation, and random shoes. It's dead ordinary and truly truly amazing.
